Photography & Filmmaking

It was roughly 2009 when I discovered my dad's old compact film camera and I immediately took interest in it. Fast forward a couple of years and I picked up an interest in collecting cameras and built a love for photography. Then, in 2013 I got a Canon Rebel 2,000 EOS 300 as a present, (thanks brother!) Fully equipped with its EF 28-90mm kit lens. That was it. I was rarely without that camera for the best part of the decade. Something that continues to be the case, with a growing collection of equipment. Since then, I've branched into writing and long-form video.

Music

I'm an amateur folk musician with ten years experience playing diatonic accordions. In 2017 I began going to then Andy Cutting's diatonic accordion classes at Burwell Bash, a music summer school in Cambridgeshire. Since then, I have released my own music and performed on stage. To me, music is life, bonding, and freedom to express yourself. And I'm proud to be fortunate enough to be in the position to share and teach this wonderful, wacky instrument.

HND Creative Industries

As a part of this course, I worked in different positions in fast-paced and organised production crews from runner to director in producing films and live television. Most notably, I was floor assistant and camera operator for TEDxYouth@StGeorgesEdinburgh in 2024.

HNC Photography

As a part of this course, I worked with models and studio equipment to capture and develop both digital and paper prints for different briefs, ranging photography styles.

Music Production

In 2018, I studied a music and sound production course where I learnt how to record, mix and master multi-track audio in a professional studio. Since then, I have been using these skills both for myself and in a professional capacity across music and video production.
